The Power of Song

Some days there’s so much to say, powered by such raw emotion, but I fumble over the words. Some days it’s worse than normal because – like today – I’ve been awake for 36 hours, at the very least. Or 24. Numbers are meaningless, right now.
This is when the power of the lyrics in the music I love seems so much more apt, like they were written just for me.
How is it that these words fall out the universe at the same time I feel these sentiments? Is this the famed Law of Attraction or am I just more than usually full of it?
I am tired now, so no more writing – but read these words, from Gabriel & Dresden’s track, titled
I swear I don’t know
What time it is
But I know this means
Nothing much to me
And I hear the voices
Ring in my head
And they keep tell’ me
Telling me to let go, let go
Telling me to let go, let go

It would be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It’s just better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It’s just better that way

And I hear the voices
Ring in my head
And they keep tell’ me
Telling me to let go, let go
Telling me to let go, let go
Telling me to let go, let go
Telling me to let go, let go

Ah ah ah let it go (4x)

Cause It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It’s just better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go

Cause It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It’s just better that way
Let it go, let it go
It could be better that way
Let it go, let it go
It’s just better that way
